About me:
I have 6 years of experience primarily with Dynamics Ax on product management, technical and functional consulting. My passion is to create business solutions that can awe the customer and bring in measurable benefits to them. I have a talent for mapping critical business process to the ERP solution in a simple and effective manner. I'm currently managing the product development of Innovites cable vertical solution. This core vertical on the Ax platform has become the preferred choice of any cable industry that evaluates for an ERP solution. I have been the driving force behind the solution since it's inception until today where it is being used by more than 8+ companies in a 3 years period.
My experiences include manufacturing, vertical development on Dynamics Axsolution architecture, Technical solution design, Development, customization and upgrade on Dynamics Ax. Coming from a Technical background i'm also well versed with experience of Scrum and agile based development, design patterns and their applications.

Innovites is an ISV for Dynamics Ax that develops and sells cable vertical solution for cable industries. It is the only sole solution provider on Ax for the cable industry and is the initiative of Cable Industry veterans.
Product Manager | Dec 2008 - Present
After being promted i broadened my scope at innovites with responsibilities to understand and study requirements from the market,sequence their priorty in the product map, create solution mappings and present it to the management, plan release for the feature. I have also engaged myself on presales gaining good exposure on sales and marketing additionaly. The last two deals on my pre-sales engagement are currently customers of Innovites
Innovites as an ISV workes with partners for implementation, however we also played an active role by engaging ourselves and being part of the steering commitees. As a part of this I had to meet different stakeholders of the project convince them on our solution mapping.I regularly make trips visiting customer sites to understand the buisness Process and generalizing them to make it of our produt. Through this we have also attempted to create ideal business process mapping of different subtype industry in the cable(HighVolt, Optical, Automative).
When it comes product development I focus on building a multiskilled individuals in the team. Initiated the project "ground Zero" to eliminate best practices deviations and continuing to ensure highest quality till date. Eventually this quality helped as attain the CFMD status.Though i play a broader role i stay hands on with development. I have been behind the major architectural changes and features built as part of the product.

In innovites the goal was to create the ultimate solution for the cable industry on top of Dynamics Ax. As part of the initial team i engaged in designing the architecture. Coming from a service backround i acquired the skills and philosphies of product development such as focussing on building an extensible and flexible product, scrum, agile. Techincally also this helped me gain experience in adopting and learning key design skills like design patterns, UML, frameworks.I put relentless efforts to develop a solution that would speedup our go-to market and achieved the target in seven months with just 2 people.

Sonata is a mid tier software services company with operating offices in several parts of the world. Sonata had a large Microsoft Dynamics Ax practice catering to outsourced projects related to testing, upgrade, customization and implementation.
Senior Systems Analyst|May2007-May2008
I lead the team that handled the vertical development for an UK based ISV. As a lead my responsibilities were understanding functional requirements, estimation, design, task segregation, integration, delivery and support.I adoped version control and development achitecture for solution development as it involved a large team . Also played active role in motivating and encoraging the team to develop a proper solution. The project turned a big success and gave sonata the first experience of managing vertical development.I was known for my expertise across the organisation and so was engaged as an external consultant to other teams working on Dynamics Ax advicing them on their approach and designs. I also created Ax community to share and deliver training's in the organisation and under took training for several batches of fresh graduates.

I was moved to a core project for Microsoft, related to AIF in this period. I worked on honing my Ax development skills. Always made it a point to take time to develop tools that will help other developers and testers. volunteered to help and handle challenges arising in different projects in the organisation.Started blogging on the dynamics Ax solution and was recoganised us the first Indian blog to be spotted on MSDN, and official Microsoft community site. I and my project were awarded the Best Employee and the Best team award for our contributions.

As a fresh engineering graduate i was trained on Dynamics Ax and inducted in the team as a test developer. In a quick span i was reconganised for my enthusiam and involvement. Created a splash by developing a test automation tool that helped the whole team and the organisation to win a large scale development project.
