Pain:The pain of an IP comes with the fear of loosing it. Ax had enough ground to ensure the fear. Innovites selling the solution across the globe also had the challenge of being eaten away by IP theft.
Solution:A DLL based proprietry and unique licensing system was designed to tackle this issue. Licensing mechanism supported issuing license based on hardware id and was able to control license over a period(Date range) and number of users. In the case license expires only the cable solution would stop functioning while standard Ax would continue to work as it is.
